The Story
With over half it’s population suffering from acute hunger and living below the poverty line, Afghanistan is in need of our help. Inflation levels in Afghanistan have risen dramatically over the past few years, causing several vulnerable families to struggle with affording the bare necessities. Health services are struggling to provide the necessary care and assistance needed due to the lack of medication and supplies.
Myself and the team at As-Siraj Trust are aiming to provide as much help and support as we can to these families in need by providing them with food packs containing their essentials such as flour, rice, oil etc. Each food pack costs £60, feeding a family of 15 for a couple of months.
Our goal is to provide over 150 food packs and we hope to achieve this with your help.
