Our vet bills average around £25,000 per year. As well as neutering, vaccinating, microchipping all of our rescue dogs before rehoming, we assist stray dogs that are sick or injured where local authorities are unable to meet the cost of veterinary treatment. We have had many cases of dogs with broken limbs from involvement in RTA's, some dogs abandoned due to complex and expensive medical needs and others that have been purposefully injured through neglect and abuse. If the vets prognosis is favourable, we believe every dog deserves a chance to survive.

Helping beneficiaries

Not all stray dogs are strays through abandonment. Some come to us due to circumstances beyond the owner's control such as terminally ill individuals or those requiring protection against criminality. Often, they have no funds to provide veterinary care for their beloved dog(s). Around 10% of our vets fees per year provide vet treatment for dogs belonging to homeless people who have no funding to provide emergency care as it arises.
