Help15 blind youth with disabilities Stay in School
These 15 blind youth are in a Center for the blind with no means of income and their parents are very poor or some doesn’t have parent ; their income are grossly insufficient to take care of their family. It is very difficult for these disable youth to get a meal a day and their living condition is poor. The 15 youths are all going to school amidst difficult and terrible conditions. They are at risk of dropping out of school due to hardship and financial constraints. This project will provide scholarships to help all 15 youths stay in school.
Challenge
These 15 Blind youth all enjoy school and want to stay in school, but their family lives so far below the poverty level that each day they are at risk of not being able to go to school or even eat a meal
Solution
This project will provide scholarships for each of the 15 youth currently in school - From class 1, till Senior Secondary School (ss2) .The scholarships will cover all school related expenses for the family making it easier to cover the costs of meals and other needs.
Long-Term Impact
The project is an effective long-term investment that will help provide quality educational opportunities for more youths and young adults so that they can rise above poverty and become better decision makers. The principal economic advantage of this education project is that it will produce people who are capable of making a greater contribution to the national economy. These future leaders' incremental earnings represent the added social output generated by investment in their education.
