GRACEaid - 2 large retail units in South East London (& a white-van)! Most likely one of a kind as we are the only inner London refugee charity with such premises. GRACE is a local charity based in Leegate, Lewisham, SE12. We specialize in distribution of non-food items which normally helps refugees, and destitute individuals referred to us by other charities, both locally and internationally. Like many other local charities at the moment our priority right now is staying afloat, however we are also exploring whether we can repurpose and help with the local response to COVID. Realistically this would mean extending our partnerships with other local charities and we would welcome expressions of interest to collaborate. We have a large storage and distribution warehouse based in the open-air Leegate shopping centre. There is free parking in the back and open, clear space out front- both with very limited pedestrian traffic which makes it fairly secure in the current environment. We are able to work with local, national and international groups, NGOs, companies in order to provide, storage, volunteer services, and wholesale distribution/storage. Our units are large enough to hold 50-60 pallets of goods.
