Supporting the work of ecancer helps us share the the latest treatment and prevention knowledge about cancer for free. We believe that access to the best possible cancer care is a fundamental human right that can only be realised by improving the education of healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of patients with cancer, especially in low and middle income countries (LMICs). ecancer's mission complements the UICC World Cancer Declaration, approved by heads of state at the United Nations, which states that improving the education and training of healthcare professionals is critical in helping to reduce premature deaths from cancer, survival rates and improve quality of life for patients.
