We're pairing volunteer befrienders with vulnerable older neighbours across South Yorkshire to call on the phone, a few times a week, to check-in and ensure they feel connected, supported and not alone during the current crisis. We require additional funds to support the most vulnerable by providing a telephone befriender that can check in a few times a week and alert us if they require essential items or have issues related to being alone during this challenging time.
