We are looking for corporates to tap into what we call the "invisible talent pool" - experienced and talented individuals who, due to disability or long-term illness - cannot, perhaps, work full time, or who have taken an enforced career break due to illness. Such highly skilled individuals are, however, ready to lend their capabilities to companies interested in hiring them on a part-time basis and diversifying their teams. Here is one of our highly skilled candidates: Martin H Martin is a banking industry professional with senior management experience in the finance, operations, and technology functions of a global bank. He has extensive experience of Merger, Acquisition and Divestiture processes, Risk Management, Programme and Project Management, Financial Reporting processes and systems across many geographies. Martin is also passionate about triathlons and has competed for the GB age group team at venues across the globe including London, Geneva, Kitzbuhel, Alanya, and Beijing. In September 2015, he came 6th in the Long Distance (Ironman) European age group Championships in Weymouth. Just four months later, he was diagnosed with lower colorectal cancer. Two years of treatment followed. Since that time, he has been desperately trying to recover his physical fitness and, after a miraculously speedy recovery, he managed to compete in the iconic Escape from Alcatraz triathlon, San Francisco, in June 2018. Having lost his place in the GB team from 2016 to 2017 due to the debilitating effects of the treatment, it was with enormous pride that he qualified again this year for the European Championships that will take place in Estonia 2020. Martin is currently seeking consultancy assignments where he can bring his extensive experience in risk, controls, finance and business management to generate bottom line value to small or medium size enterprises.
