The Role Good pictures can make all the difference between success and failure, both in marketing events and in creating change. We need a photographer who has amazing talents and can take inspiring photographs depicting the true nature of our work and activities while inspiring positive actions within the community. By joining the team, you will work closely with the team members, community members and learners to help bring their stories, events and activities to life through photography. Your responsibilities will include: • Taking photos on events and radio recordings • Select and edit images and upload them to google docs • Gain permissions to use photos for subjects • Keep an archive of photos and images for future use Essential Skills • Be creative, with a good eye for a picture • Be reliable and able to meet deadlines • Be motivated and determined • Have excellent technical and photographic skills • Have computer skills, especially with computer programs such as Photoshop • Have good communications skills • Be confident organising people • Be able to listen and interpret the clients’ needs • Be able to focus on getting a good picture no matter what is going on around them • Ability to use different types of photographic equipment and photography software • Understanding of artificial and natural lighting and how it affects different settings, shapes and skin tones.
