The Active Challenge for Turn2us begins on the 21st June. Royal London's teams will virtually travel for 124 hours, the distance from Royal London in Edinburgh to Turn2us in London, stopping at a few familiar landmarks along the way! Colleagues are encouraged to raise funds for Turn2us's Helpline as they take part in this challenge, with a suggested target of £40 per person. With Royal London's Matched Giving scheme, this means you could help ten people to access immediate support through Turn2us's Helpline. Together, we can prevent financial shocks from becoming a financial crisis, and help more people to stay afloat when they are struggling most. Here are three simple ideas to get on the way to meeting that target: Share, share, share! Spread the word far and wide that you’re fundraising for Turn2us by sharing your donation page on social media and by email. Make sure to describe the difference contributions can make and they’ll soon add up. Donate your daily…! If you’re not commuting, buying coffee on the go or treating colleagues to lunch at the moment, donate what you would have spent on those daily outgoings and watch the total rise. Waste Not, Want Not! Spring cleans are great all year round, and even better when they raise money for a good cause.
