For years, Venezuela has gone through an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. The health sector has collapsed and more than half of the doctors have left the country. Junior doctors working in state hospitals are crucial to providing free medical care. During the past two years, Healing Venezuela has been paying $15 per month to 111 junior doctors in 5 hospitals to cover part of their living expenses. With the coronavirus crisis, medical staff is even more strained and we would like to support more junior doctors (120) and increase the monthly allowance ($17).
