FCT is seeking to recruit a volunteer county chair person in both Wiltshire and Dorset (1 person per county). The county chair is an important part of the charity, responsible for coordinating the promotion and growth of the service in either Wiltshire or Dorset. You will: Lead the county committee of dedicated volunteers Take on an ambassadorial role and promote the service locally and support fundraising efforts Be the eyes & ears of the county; staying up to date with service levels, fundraising & local developments in the sector Represent your county to the Board & at the County Chairs Forum Establish county targets & liaise with the Treasurer & CEO. About FCT: Founded in Dorset in 2005, Family Counselling Trust provides counselling to children, young people and their families on low incomes, who are not able to access NHS services. We are an early intervention service, treating mental health issues before they escalate into crisis; plugging the gap caused by long waiting times and high referral thresholds.
