We need volunteers across the Stockport area to run Dementia Discos, either at a venue or in a care home. We run 2 monthly discos, 1 in Heaton Mersey and 1 in Cheadle Hulme. They have been so successful that care homes are asking us to provide discos in care homes. We would love to open more discos in venues across the Stockport area and would love to have more discos in care homes. We are looking for pro-active, music loving volunteers, who love to talk to people to help us to run these discos. We require volunteers, who are local to the Stockport area, who can provide 2 hours a month at the weekend for a venue based disco or 1 hour a month during the week to run a disco in a care home. We will provide you everything you need and training on how to run a disco.
