From empty house to home Everyone deserves a place to call home. But too many people in Belfast and Lisburn aren’t getting the shelter or support they need and have nowhere to call home. You can help change that. By supporting our ‘Donate Empty House’ Project, you can help provide the independence needed to allow these individuals to rebuild their lives. Belfast And Lisburn Community Project are appealing for donations to help bring empty properties back to life. There are more than 5,000 families on the Housing Executive waiting list yet estimates show there are over 2,000 empty properties across Belfast and Lisburn. Help us to help the Homeless by Donating your empty, abandone, neglected and derelict to Belfast And Lisburn Community Project so that we can modernised and furnished the property with the help of our volunteer and supporters. The properties will provide supported housing for people who are homeless or in housing need and are ready to make a positive change in their lives. We empower people who are homeless to transform empty houses in Belfast And Lisburn into homes and become part of a community. We believe in giving people a chance because it’s what everyone deserves – that means with your support we are a place where people can try something new, make mistakes and then learn from the experience. Belfast And Lisburn Community project is providing warm food, hot drinks, sleeping mats and sleeping bags which are regularly requested and needed by the homeless community. This project is desperately needed as without charities like us’ the homeless community do not have the support and access to any food or shelter. With temperatures already plunged to sub-zero, snow and severe weather conditions have exposed members of the homeless community to lose their lives in the past.
