We are developing a new teaching method for computer science, so teachers infuse their teaching with teamwork, feedback, real-world challenges and creativity for students: the Accelerator. Based on product development, the method will help students understand how tech products are created, understand the value of team work, feedback and testing, while also taking on real-world challenges to solve. We aim for each high-school student to have at least 1 opportunity each year to develop products and apply their CS knowledge from concept to MVP. We need your support to test with teachers and gather feedback. Your support will help us organize several focus groups with teachers testing the methods, and also organize virtual class observations with experts in education to understand better and integrate feedback in the method. This year we are testing the method with 100 teachers, and we aim to create a guide that can be used by any computer science teacher.
