Story of GoodPlanet Foundation

The GoodPlanet Foundation was created in 2005 and is chaired by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, renowned photojournalist, with the aim of raising public awareness on environmental issues and environmental protection. The GoodPlanet Foundation supports and assists field projects, partner companies and local operators. The numerous projects run worldwide have allowed to achieve the following to date: >> 41 concrete projects in 21 countries on 4 continents >> Over 150,000 people helped >> 11,200 solar cookers installed, 8,000 biogas reservoirs constructed, 16 bioclimatic schools and dormitories built >> Over 180,000 tonnes of CO² offset The GoodPlanet Foundation has been awarded the IDEAS Label for its financial transparency, good governance and efficient programmes.
