The Story
I am lucky to have been selected to represent Greater North London Scouts, UK at the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea in 2023. I’ll be going with 40,000 Scouts from around the world. Not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to raise the funds needed to go. So we are raising a bigger share than some other countries so everyone can afford to come.
As it is important for the environment, and a theme for the Jamboree, I have decided to do litter picking as my sponsored event to raise funds. I am going to pick up 500 pieces of litter before April 2023. This will help my local area and be a worthwhile activity.

I am attending the 25th World Scout Jamboree in South Korea and am working hard to fundraise for this epic international adventure in global development. I need to raise £1,500 in order to attend and around two thirds of this is in order to support other poorer young people from across the globe to attend.
