The Story

On the 7th May, member of staff, Kathryn Greene, will be attempting the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge! Kathryn decided to take on the task to help raise funds for outdoor equipment for the two schools, supporting them following their recent Fun Run fundraising with pupils. The Yorkshire Three Peaks is a trekking challenge situated in the Yorkshire Dales. The aim is to summit Pen-y-ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m) in less than 12 hours, although completing it in any time is an achievement in itself!

C.I.T is a multi academy chain of 16 schools across the East Midlands. The family of schools consists of 6 mainstream primaries (plus another opening in Nottinghamshire in 2022), 8 special schools (plus another opening in Leicestershire in 2023), and a Teaching Centre – LEARN.
