Legal representation at the Network Rail public inquiry

Alan Goffee, chair of the Essex Ramblers - ‘Over the last year, we’ve been working hard to ensure that Network Rail’s plan to close level crossings in Essex and Hertfordshire does not adversely affect walkers and their safety. Now, we need to represent walker’s views at the public inquiry into these closures. Just £10 – or whatever you can give - would be a huge help towards our legal fees.’
This is the first of the public inquiries into level crossing closures in East Anglia – volunteers in Suffolk and Cambridgeshire will be representing walkers soon too. And we know that Network Rail plan to close level crossings across the country in the future. So let’s ensure that walkers are represented at this inquiry and stop a precedent being set.
