Role and Responsibility: A variety of administrative and clerical tasks including: - Answering telephone & directing calls - Taking messages - Meet and greet visitors - Directing visitors around and to other buildings - Administration duties - photocopying, filing, data input, laminating, sorting post and receiving deliveries. - Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures) - Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk including monitoring signing in and out. The Candidate To meet these demands, we are looking for a competent, flexible, volunteer receptionist to join our team two days a week. This role would be suitable for retired people who are looking to do something constructive with their time, people with previous administrative or customer service experience or people who may have been out of work for some time and who are looking to develop their skills and confidence. The role provides a good opportunity for skills development as well as a suitable opportunity for those who may be highly skilled and are looking to make some form of community contribution.
