Over the past few years, we have raised money to update essential equipment available at the university so that the teaching can remain at a high standard. Last year, for example, FQMS replaced the anatomy models used at Al-Quds Medical School, which had not been changed since the school was founded in the mid-1990s and were in urgent need of replacement. In 2015, we donated computers for Al-Quds Medical School, so that the students could have the facilities to take their exams online. In 2014, we donated a Harvey simulator to Al-Quds Medical School. Harvey realistically simulates nearly any cardiac disease at the touch of a button by varying blood pressure, pulses, heart sounds and murmurs; making it a great tool for training medical students. We are approached to support similar projects on a regular basis.
