Role and Responsibility: We are looking for editors to help us become an innovative and vibrant hub for sourcing, storing and disseminating information through our regional magazines and online. The ideal candidate should be creative and have a passion for journalism. Your duties will grow as your role does, but will likely include: • Sourcing relevant contents in a timely manner • Sourcing adverts and advertorials • Overseeing the layout, appearance and the contents • Editing and re-writing articles • Communicating with partners Skills Required: • Strong communication skills – spoken and written • A creative flair and an eye for detail • Survey with social media and internet usage • Be computer literate • Work well in teams • Ability to build rapport with a range of partners • Ability to edit and proofread articles • Ability to meet deadlines Personal Qualities • Punctual, proactive and self-motivated • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team • Enthusiasm, professional attitude and the willingness to learn • Professional, hardworking with a desire to succeed • Flexible and adaptable We’re committed to building a team with a variety of backgrounds, views and skills, embracing our key values.
