The moment we have been waiting for!
We are proud to announce that AND Digital, Newton club today successfully delivered a newly redesigned website for our charity client, Launchpad at launchpadreading.org.uk. Launchpad is Reading’s leading homelessness prevention charity, providing vital information and support for individuals, couples and families who don’t have a stable place to live or are at risk of losing their home. The new site features a streamlined, modern design, improved capability for the business teams to easily modify and create new content to help people find the right information and reason for businesses and individuals to support the cause.
We are thrilled to have completed this project in under 3 months from start to finish with a team of 4 developers and analysts. This website will now be updated regularly with new essential information, events and their charity milestones.
We encourage all ANDis to explore the website and sign up to their newsletter.
Last night was the final session of our Introduction to Web Development course with Code First Girls at Newton and therefore finishes the first round of courses across the company. We also ran the course at Murray, Kilburn, Sparck and Dekker.
Thank you to all ANDis who were involved in the initiative and have helped to run the first batch of courses across AND. If you’re interested in getting involved with CFG in the future please join the #code-first-girls channel or speak to your instructors at each club.
AND Digital fundraised £435.00
AND Digital fundraised £65.00
The entire AND FC team that tried to win the business 5s today. Valiant effort from all involved in the Business 5's Charity Football Match. Tough competition, tougher conditions but they did their best and raised some decent money for YAA. £435 in total, with one donation still to come in! Well done to Dave Gauntly, George Taylor, Dan Brunnell, Ben Baller, Kris Box, Rob Crossland, Joe Ellis and Costas (who got to experience playing football in the snow for the first time… Along with sideways rain, hail and even some sunshine).
AND Digital contributed 6.00 Hours mentoring
On February 11th Murray will be taking part in a charity football fundraiser. We will be looking for people to support the team with donations, per goal scored. You can pledge here: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sxUQ7z9FyqfA3Llfmw3BfhescORlQ0btFdW7ZPTDAqg/edit?usp=sharing
