The Story
We are asking everyone who comes to The Cart Shed to consider making a donation to the charity, of any size, to ensure those who are not so fortunate are able to come to us too. Can you help?
A day at The Cart Shed
The average cost of a day at The Cart Shed is £100. This includes transport, access to qualified occupational therapists and other health care professionals, skilled crafts tutors and a host of activities including coppicing, coppice crafts, horticulture and basket making.
Sponsor a Meal
Perhaps you’d like to sponsor a Cart Shed meal deal for £3.
Every day we provide hot drinks and freshly cooked vegetable soup and sausages for our participants. We ask all participants to contribute what they can to the cost of lunch but many struggle to afford this small amount.

The Cart Shed Charity
The Cart Shed charity transforms lives. We work with adults and young people experiencing mental health difficulties or with those of us who have emotional imbalances in our lives.
Based in north Herefordshire, we use enriching and engaging woodland activities such as woodcraft and coppice craft as well as horticulture to empower us to self-manage our mental and physical health in a sustainable way. Sessions are run by tutors, occupational therapists and mental health practitioners to help build confidence, identify barriers to skills development and explore other issues that might be making life challenging.
